The Christmas Snack Bar


At my parents house in Bend, we set up their kitchen island with all the snacks that you could think of. Chocolate, crackers, cookies, chips and other foods that don't necessarily start with the letter "c". This Christmas my children were old enough to eat the foods and old enough to reach them...with the help of their Aunt Jen! Here are the munchers in action...it looks like Adi has the best seat in the house.

Hope you all have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are headed off to Bend for some skiing and hot-tubing. Here are the kids in front of our tree that we got this year...I just love the last picture...they seem so happy and not tricked into a pose at all! Merry Christmas!!!

This is really Colin...skiing down the slopes! Look at the snow-plowing technique...watch out US Ski Team!!

And boy did it! We went up to Mt. Hood and stayed for a few days with some friends to play in the snow. It was great...the kids had a blast playing in the cold snow. Most of the adults got to hit the slopes...Leo and Tanya were the only ones who weren't able to make it (leo had knee surgery and tanya is 6 months pregnant). And out of the kids, Adison and baby Lincoln were the only ones that didn't go down the mountain. That's right, Colin has officially been skiing!!! Leo is so excited and can't wait to take him up skiing in Bend for the holidays! Here are the kids playing outside (Colin, Maddie, Micah, Adi and Emma & Adi).
