Grandpa & Grandma's Pool

Dennis and Julie put up the perfect sized pool in their back yard for the kids, for summer. They all love it...especially when they can go from the pool to the hot tub...and back and forth! These pictures are a series of four of the cousins running from the side of the house to the pool. The order is apparently the order of ages...but wait until the end! Guess who brings up the back of the line? The kids had all of us adults rolling in laughter when we saw the progression!

Darius Nolan Kangas! Here are the first pics of the sweet little boy...7lbs. 15oz. The big brothers were a cute sight to see. Judah was smiling ear to ear, while Owen wanted to check out all the food Mom had been given. Tanya was doing great...even snapping away with her camera. She was in such good spirits, considering the labor took about 5 hours total! And the last picture, the cute blonde nurse, is Kristen...Tanya will be in good hands with her around. Welcome baby Darius, we are so glad your are finally here!

He's Here! He's Here!

We just got word that Darius Kangas made his appearance into the world today, at around 5:30pm. We are headed to the hospital now to meet him and see how mom is doing...I will take lots of pictures! We are so excited!!!

Waiting For Dad To Get Home

This was the scene outside our house this afternoon. The kids anxiously awaiting the arrival of Dad from work. Adison was showing off her newly found skills of riding a bike without training wheels and Colin took Maxton on a ride around the driveway. Of course, all things came a screeching stop when Leo's car came into view..."Daddy's home, Daddy's home, Daddy's home"!

A 6 Month Bath

No, I did not leave him in the bath for 6 months, I just wanted to commemorate his 6 months of being our little (ok, not so little) baby boy. He is taking baths on his own, almost sitting up (it is all of the chub around his legs that holds him up), getting back his hair, talking up a storm, wearing 9-12 months clothes and trying to keep up with his brother and sister. I'll say it again..."Where did all the time go"?

Thanks to my two sister-in-law's love of photography, and the fact that Kristen upgraded to a newer camera and I am getting her old one, I have bigger and better pictures for the blog! I am trying out the camera and loving every part of it. I actually have a large lens that attaches to the body...it makes me look really professional. Here are some pics of the kids and their friends at a great fountain last week.
