Break Out The Bounce House!


We put the bounce house up today and the kids went to town! They love play in it, on it, around it...anywhere near it. It is by far the favorite outdoor toy that we have. It even beats out the pool! It is actually quite affordable and easy to set up and store when we aren't using it. I would recommend it to any family with a level yard!

A Year's Time

The kids and I went outside and played in the pool yesterday...they played, I took pictures! I then realized that I had pictures of them last year around this time, playing in the pool too. So, when I took a closer look, it turned out that these pictures were taken on the exact same day...just one year apart. Here are the differences a year can make...the first three are on May 15, 2006 and the last three on May 15, 2007!

The Cutest Outfit!

My good friend, Becky Padgett, is a great sewer...hence the outfit you will see on Adison. She hand makes children's clothing and sells them on ebay. Colin's Fishing Adventure!

Last Sunday, I was persuaded to let Leo take Colin on his first camping trip. After telling Leo all of the rules and procedures for Colin, they left to spend the night on the Deschutes River. Colin was slightly concerned about spending the night in a camper...and without mom, but Leo said that when they arrived at their destination, all was forgotten! They fished, camped and explored all along the rocks of the river (Colin did the exploring). He was a little cranky when he arrived home, but he had so many stories about the trip...I know he had a great time! I guess this means we will be camping this summer...can't wait! The pictures are of the boys practicing on the back porch.

Listening to the Thunder!

Colin and Adi had a treat today...a front row show to some thunder and lightning. They were playing at the window, when a storm rolled over the house. It was so great to talk to them about the lightning and thunder...Colin was putting his two cents in about Lightning McQueen! If any of you have seen the movie "Cars", you know what I am talking about. Colin asked the most questions and Adison was a little scared, but it sure was fun watching their faces!
