Our Baby's First Birthday!!!

Here we go again...another 1st birthday has come and gone! This one by far is the fastest that time has flown by. I can still remember celebrating my father's 60th birthday last year and being in labor at dinner. What a year!!! Max is a pretty cool guy...a very good third baby. The Polar Express



For Maxton's 1 st birthday, yes I said 1st, we took the family for a trip on the Polar Express. My parents came into to town for the festivities and we all braved the cold weather (kids in their pj's) to take a birthday ride! The kids were beside themselves, re-living every moment of the movie (hot chocolate, elves and Santa). It was a different experience for the adults though, ask me about it sometime if you are interested in going.

A Tradition


When I was growing up, my family always had this Holiday tradition...we would get our Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving and start decorating our house for Christmas. I look back and know that it was a very fond memory of mine and I loved that time of year! So, we are now picking up that tradition in our family. We ventured out and picked out our tree the Sunday after Thanksgiving and spent a fun afternoon decorating the tree and the house! I can say that we are officially ready for Christmas!!!
