Our 100th Post!!

This will be our 100th post...pretty impressive, huh? I was amazed to see that I have posted that many picture/commentaries about us over the past two years (the first post was on November 2005!) So, this is of Colin and his basketball class that he attended over the last few weeks...he really improved his dribbling and shooting skills. My parents were even able to come and watch him play (Adi and Papa are on the sidelines cheering him on)!

"Mommy, what's for dinner?"

The other day, I came into the kitchen to find Leo and the kids having too much fun! He had put the kids into a toy tub and was carrying them around the house. He then asked me to come into the kitchen and wanted to know what was for dinner? I found the kids on the stove in the tub, ready to be cooked up. They thought it was funny...so did I!

A Quick Trip to Florida

Leo and I were fortunate enough to get a little time away for a warm vacation last week. We took a few days and some free airline tickets and went down to Key West, Florida...what great weather! Leo and I had a blast, we rented a convertible car, went on a big fishing boat, did some snorkeling and ate some great seafood. It was the right amount of time, having the right amount of fun. The kids stayed back with Grandma and Grandpa...didn't even notice that we had left. So, we are back now and a little chillier, but are well rested and thankful for the opportunity!

P.S. Would you believe that Leo caught the biggest fish of the day on the fishing trip? Surprise, Surprise!

Dress Up

The kids and I go to our local community center about once a week. I work out and the kids play in the drop off center. Last week, when I went in to pick them up, here is what I saw running at me yelling, "Mommy, Mommy, look at me"!

It was Adi's turn...

This last fall I enrolled Colin in a soccer class at our local community center, which he loved so much. Well, Adi sat on the sidelines and watched with big eyes, waiting for her turn to get out onto the court. It came and she has spent the last several weeks in her very own soccer class. It took her two classes to let me go and sit in the bleachers with the rest of the parents, but now she is a pro! Here she is in all of her soccer glory...isn't she just so adorable!!!

Sleeping Babies...I mean Beauties

The kids were pretending that they were going to sleep together on the couch one evening and this was the outcome. They are so cute when they play together...for the most part they are so kind and gentle with each other. But, as we all know, they are brother and sister and fights do break out. So, I thought that I would memorialize this sweet moment between the two of them so it is on record that they got along! If you can't tell, they are fake sleeping...if Adi hadn't cracked a smile in the first photo you could have never guessed!
