Swimming Lessons


It is that time again...swimming lessons have arrived! I signed the kids up for one more class before the new baby comes and takes over. They are doing so great...but, I am just being biased. Colin is practicing on using his "big arms" while breathing on his side. Adi is learning how to kick with her face in the water.

The Annual Pumpkin Patch Trip

The Stoddard-Kangas "Great Pumpkin Adventure" was held today at, none other than, the Sauvie Island Pumpkin Patch! We all met up at the big red barn and off we went on our adventure. First, Grandma handed out a hand-made backpacks to all of the grand kids...they were all so cute with their matching bags! Then, we visited some animals, climbed up the giant hay pyramid, rode out to the pumpkin field, picked out some pumpkins, and ended with a picnic lunch in the garden. I also found Uncle Brian and Aunt Tanya getting some rest together on a bench...it was a great day!

A Fall Day At The Park

The kids and I went to the park just by our house this afternoon to enjoy the beautiful Fall weather. What a treat...and I remembered my camera!

Soccer

Colin has officially started me on my way to becoming a "soccer mom" this fall. I signed him up for a little soccer club at the school right by our house. I have been looking for an outdoor, fall soccer group for him for a while. I found this club on a Friday afternoon and it started the next day...boy was I lucky! It is called "Kick & Chase"...get it...the kids just run around kicking and chasing the ball. They have such a great time though. And Adi loves to cheer on the sidelines for brother...even Grandma got to come and check out Colin in action!
