It's Official...

Adison is two!! Last Wednesday, my youngest turned two...I can't believe it...two! I am now starting to understand the saying, "time flies"...and it is taking off. We had a small family get together on her birthday...notice, we also had cupcakes. Then, we went to Bend for the weekend to have another small party. Now, it's Colin's birthday next! For those of you who don't know, Colin is keeping track of the birthdays...hence the reason why his is next...never mind anyone in between!

The Mommies Take A Break!

Last weekend, I went to Los Angeles with three of my girlfriends, Amy, Alicia, and Carolyn. It was classified as a break from the kids...we try to get together and "get away" every six months. Even though not all of us have kids, we all still need time away to play. And boy did we...we went to Disneyland!! We also went to the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno". We sat in the first three rows and all got to shake his hand when he came out to start the show...did anyone see us on t.v.? Just kidding, the cameras were too fast for us to even point out ourselves! So, here are some of the pics of us...Colin was amazed at the picture of mommy and "Woody". He wants to know if he can meet him someday...it just might be a while before that happens. And we even got some shopping in at Venice Beach!

Dress Up

Adison received a "dress up" box for Christmas this last year. So, when they found the box...after months of seclusion, they decided that it would be time to dress up as princesses and princes. Funny how Colin was so much more excited to get into the clothes than Adi...he has such an imagination! He kept saying that he and Adi were going to "get married"...since they were wearing such "pretty" clothes. I also included a close up picture of the high heel shoes that Adi wore around the house...I am so not ready for her to grow up!!!

Happy Easter!!!

Here are the kids in all of their glory...their Easter outfits. We spent the day at our brother-in-law's, Brian Kangas, new church. He and his family started a few months ago. It is a great, fast growing church..."Branches". We then had a great meal and egg hunt over at Leo's parents house, Grandma and Grandpa. It was the first year that all of the kids actually knew what they were looking for...and actually found them! What a great time to see those four kids out in the rain looking for the eggs...Colin was trying to "get the most" and win. Happy Easter to all!!!

Peek-A-Boo...

Here is Adi, just after a bath and almost ready to go to bed. But first, a quick game of peek-a-boo! Can you believe that she will be turning 2 in about two weeks...I sure can't. It is amazing how much fun these kids are when they start to get their own personalities and become more independent. Though, they still need their mommy for plenty of things!!
